Subrina has been a beacon of women empowerment. She has been served as the Vice President for British Bangladeshi Chambers of Women Entrepreneurs, an organization that profiles and mentors successful business women within British-Bangladeshi society. She has introduced a competition called “Cooking Queen” through NTV that encouraged women from different backgrounds to participate in nationwide competition which not only enhanced their confidence but also helped to create a positive impression about them and start a new career.
Academics & Work
Subrina completed her undergrad from London Metropolitan University with a law degree. It was then, where her leadership attributes began to emerge, as she was elected the star of the law course representing students’ needs, concerns and expectations to the Students’ Union and University officials. She has also completed her MBA and currently doing her PhD at Anglia Ruskin University.
She is currently holding the prestigious position of the Chief Executive of NTV Europe. She is also executive and non-executive director of many multinational companies. Her bold and charismatic leadership has contributed significantly towards the financial and strategic interest of NTV Europe and other organisations she is associated with. NTV has been a phenomenal success in the UK and across Europe due to her pragmatic leadership. She is also a Level 1 user at the UKBA Sponsor Management System and the Authorising Officer, responsible for all day to day management of the SMS.

Cooking Queen

Meet the Guvnor
Britain’s curry industry subsidises heavily towards local and national economy. However, due to unfavourable situation this industry has been anguished heavily. Subrina introduced a new program named “Meet the Guvnor” through NTV to reach out to the community involved with this industry across the nation to understand their concerns and to address those.
NTV Community Cricket Cup
Subrina has been a great supporter of sports too. She understands that sports can play a pivotal role in our well-being and community cohesion. She has been successfully organising “NTV Community Cricket Cup” for last 5 years to encourage young people to get more involved with sports for their physical and mental well-being.
Apprenticeship scheme
Subrina has introduced “Apprenticeship scheme for 13 to 19 years” age demography so that those individuals can gain necessary knowledge from their early age to be successful in their future careers. Subrina spends her spare time teaching as a cover teacher to give something back to the education sector.
Business Friends of NTV
She has also successfully patronised an event called “Business Friends of NTV” that recognises business leaders, their innovation and input for the benefit of the British society. She is also a Level 1 user at the UKBA Sponsor Management System and the Authorising Officer, responsible for all day to day management of the SMS.
The Freeman-ship
Subrina has been awarded The Freeman-ship, The Freedom of the City of London on 24th September 2019 for her outstanding contribution to the British society. She is one of the few British-Bangladeshi who has been awarded such prestigious award.
Recently, during the current pandemic, Subrina has helped vulnerable ethnic minorities financially through fundraising. As the CEO of NTV Europe, she patronaged series of tv programs to raise public awareness during Covid-19 pandemic.
She has also introduced programs at NTV Europe to accommodate Metropoliton Police and NHS to share their messages and created platforms for them to promote their services. She also volunteering for the Royal Voluntary Service during the current pandemic.
